As a professional in the fitness industry for over a decade I have seen every fad come and go.
I remember the rise of trampolining, pole dancing, Zumba, yogilates, even classes that help you visualise yourself to fitness.
However, there are a few sports which have stood the test of time because they are gimmick free and give killer results. One of these is boxing. Boxing has been included in the Olympic Games since 1904 and around long before then.
It's a tough, grungy workout that boasts fat burning, cardio endurance, great for the beginner exerciser when done with a personal trainer or coach. The other, massive reason women love to box....the stress relief!
There is nothing quite like bashing the stuffing out of a bag to help you feel spent and satisfied.

The endorphin release, the physical exhaustion, the boxing "high" that comes at the end of a session...they're all real. If you haven't had the pleasure of experiencing it for yourself, try some sessions. Grab a girlfriend and hire a trainer for a few two-on-one sessions. Just be sure to pick someone who can take a punch.
